What to Know About Me
Section titled “What to Know About Me”I’m a Data Science and Applied Math major at UC Berkeley (Class of 2026) and Bay Area native. After graduating high school, I spent three years working in downtown SF as a finish carpenter, installing cabinetry and millwork for offices like OpenAI and Dropbox; experiences that inspired me to pursue tech professionally.
I now explore AI with the same determination and curiosity as 13 year old me trying to install Minecraft mods and archlinux. I believe reliance on technology will be a defining generational challenge, and also an incredible source of abundance. It’s helped me self-study my way from 10th grade algebra to graduate-level math courses, and attempt ideas I never thought I could.
I’m drawn to problems big enough to justify the trees and tokens I’ve burned getting here. From building an ADU with my best friend’s family at 18 to consolidating 20 years of millwork data for my dad’s shop to shipping agents in enterprise, every project teaches me something new and points me toward what’s next. If you’re interested in working together, send me a message!
Recently, I’ve been developing Youlab - an AI education tool that uses continual learning to help people figure out what they actually want to say.
